48. SITTIN' IN-KENNY LOGGINS WITH JIM MESSINA (1971)
This began as a Kenny Loggins album, with former Buffalo Springfield and Poco member Jim Messina
producing and "Sittin' In'" on guitar and background vocals. The collaboration produced such positive
results that it led to a permanent (for awhile, anyway) pairing..by the second album, it was Loggins
AND Messina. This one's chock full of great songs ("Danny's Song", "House At Pooh Corner", "Vahevala",
"Peace Of Mind", etc.), with both country and R & B spices flavoring the stew.

This duo always has good chemistry and their voices and styles played nicely together. Their collaboration was too short-lived because one of them just had to be THE movie soundtrack guy.
