53. PRETZEL LOGIC-STEELY DAN (1974)
The Dan upped the jazz influence a little more here on their third album. It starts with their hit single "Rikki Don't
Lose That Number" but I think that pales in comparison to the next three cuts: "Night By Night", "Any Major Dude Will
Tell You", and "Barrytown". Side Two is no slouch either, not with tracks like "Parker's Band" and the title track.

I'm sure there's some political reference in Barrytown, but I never picked up on it. Great song, though!
