I'm no fan of Michael Bloomberg, but he had the best lines of last night:
“I built a business, and I didn’t start it with a million-dollar check from my father.”
"I'm a New Yorker, and I know a con when I see one."
"Throughout his career, Trump has left behind a well-documented record of bankruptcies, thousands of lawsuits, angry shareholders and contractors who feel cheated, and disillusioned customers who feel ripped off. Trump says he wants to run the nation like he's run his business—God help us."

"[Drumpf's] name alone creates division and anger, whose words inspire dissension and hatred, and can't possibly 'Make America Great Again.'" --Kobe Bryant (1978-2020)

For someone who claims that the system is "rigged," Trump has spent his entire business career taking advantage of that system to screw over all the "little" people that he's dealt with. His concern for them begins and ends when they pay him money or do work for him. How any of these same types of people think that he will do anything for them once he gets their vote is beyond me.BackInTex wrote:THAT I cannot argue with.Pastor Fireball wrote:I'm no fan of Michael Bloomberg, but he had the best lines of last night:

Calling it unity might be a stretch. But anyone who does something that has me in agreement with the scorching parson is some kind of special.franktangredi wrote: Maybe Trump IS a force for unity!

I see what you mean. Let's look at a couple of examples.flockofseagulls104 wrote:For once he nailed it on the head. Everything Obama has done has failed or is failing.silverscreenselect wrote:He nailed the Donald with the type of line that's going to stick:

President Obama continued the hunt for Bin Laden. He obviously failed. No one has any idea where bin Laden is now.
Romney promised to have unemployment at 6% if we elected him. President Obama failed. He has carelessly allowed the unemployment rate to drop into the fives. I blame the President for allowing the economy to create hundreds of thousands of jobs per month.
And then there's violent crime. President Obama has utterly failed to keep violent criminals in action. Violent crime in the United States has dropped during his Administration.
Lord knows what the country will look like after four more years of such failures. Call me a masochist, but I plan to work hard to find out. --Bob
