Way to go! I am taping on that Saturday/Sunday but arriving from Philly Thursday night. Guessing there's some rule about us being each other's plus ones...

I'd be curious to find out about this. You can certainly be a contestant and a Plus One in the same season (Tony Hightower did just that), but I dunno about being each other's Plus Ones.

I think you're confusing him with Justin Peters. Tony was Ken Jennings's Plus One the season before he himself played, whereas Justin mentioned in his original game thread that he was a +1 for a friend earlier in the season (proof here: http://wwtbambored.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=49412 ).

Sam Meyer, from 3/17/16, had Tony Hightower as his plus one according to Instagram (I missed the episode).
