[Jolene] Price [The perp's] vehicle was stopped by police about 11 a.m. Monday near Club Terrace Lane and Terrace Arbor Circle after a report of a domestic dispute.
As officers struggled to take a her into custody, what appeared to be a glass vial of strychnine from the 1830s fell out of the vehicle and broke on the ground, police said.
Price, three Chesterfield officers and a deputy may have come into contact with the substance, police said.
Investigators were unable to positively determine what was in the vial because the substance evaporated before it could be tested, police said.
Officers also found vials inside the vehicle that appeared to contain strychnine and other chemicals, police said. Labels on the vials, including the one that broke, dated them to the 1830s.
