Here's today's entry in the countdown of my all-time favorite pop and rock albums. It should not surprise anyone who knows me that this won't be the last we'll hear from this band, either here or in my favorite songs countdown.
142. DREAM POLICE-CHEAP TRICK (1979)
These Rock Hall of Famers (boy, it's nice to be able to say that) continued their winning streak
with this album. The string-laden, somewhat maniacal title track, the 100 mph romp "The House
is Rockin' (With Domestic Problems)", and the sweet Beatles-drenched "Voices" are among the
standouts on this solid album.
