- Both were born a few months apart in 1964, one in NC, the other in LA.
- Both played the same position (first base), one for 15 seasons, the other for 16.
- Both played in multiple all-star games.

Although Vandal wrote that the Fritos answers were two points each, I believe his intent was that both answers combined would be worth two points. Otherwise there would have been 20 points available, not 18. --Bob
