She says it's because when people find out she's an opera singer they say, "But you're not fat!" This gives her the chance to educate people that opera singers come in all shapes and sizes. I guess Lisa didn't know who Mike Wallace was. She was mistaken about Candice Bergen being on "The Brady Bunch".
