BD is worried about taking the time to make the Newport trip on Saturday. She has lots to do for work, and not that much time to do it this weekend, since Sunday is decision day at the venue. I pointed out that the total trip Saturday will take seven hours max, which seemed to calm her down. We'll be back by 4 PM or earlier. All I know is that GW and I are NOT making the theme decoration decisions on our own. Her theme, so it requires her input.
Apropos of nothing, saw a car today with the license plate "NCC1702". It was a Prius. The owner must have delusions of grandeur.
Had a long physical this AM. Finally saw my primary physician in person, two years after my old one left the HMO and I chose her. She was more thorough with questions and family history information than the previous folks, including the former PCP. Blood tests, EKG, other tests better left unmentioned, BP monitoring chart, appointment for another colonoscopy, appointments for followup visits within six months, etc., etc. Getting old may sometime suck, but it beats the alternative. Like Mom, I intend to hang around long enough to see MY great-grandchildren, too.
