Lyrically Speaking - 3/3/16

#1 Post by Krox's Groupies » Thu Mar 03, 2016 4:47 am

YAYAY!!!! LB let us host the penalt... pinult... penn.... um, like, next to last game of the LSWE, and we're so excited, we might have to ask for extra napkins! So, like, LB says this theme is totally easy... which is why he picked us to be the hostessesses since we're easy like that! He also wanted us to tell you it's a fitting theme for today... but like, whatevs. Hey Kroxie, our Lyrically Spaking jenius!!! We're rooting for you to kick butt! (blows kisses) <3 <3 <3

1 point for, like, the title, one point for the, um, artist, and like (counts on paw) um.... three points for the easy theme!

1. Sometimes I give myself the creeps
Sometimes my mind plays tricks on me
It all keeps adding up
I think I'm cracking up

2. He had white horses
And ladies by the score
All dressed in satin
And waiting by the door

3. So perhaps I should leave here
Yeah, yeah go far away
But you know that there's nowhere that
I'd rather be than with you here today

4. You packed your bags as I recall
And you walked slowly down the hall
You said you had to get away to ease your mind
And all you needed was a just little of time

5. Well ev'ry Friday night there's a band that you gotta hear
Just a dollar to get in and twenty-five cents a beer
They play rock and roll music like it hasn't been rocked for years

6. Devil and the deep blue sea behind me
Vanish in the air you'll never find me
I will turn your face to alabaster
Then you will find your servant is your master

7. So I'm sailing for tomorrow
My dreams are a dyin'.
And my love is an anchor tied to you
Tied with a silver chain.

8. Haven't I been good to you
What about that brand new ring
Doesn't that mean love to you
Doesn't that mean anything

9. Just like Adam and Eve.
Said you'd set me free, you took me to the sky
I'd never been so high
You were my pills, you were my thrills
You were my hope baby, you were my smoke

10. Girl, I must warn you
I sense something
Strange in my mind
Yo, situation is serious
Let's cure it cause we're
Running out of time

11. But if I really say it, the radio won't play it
Unless I lay it between the lines!

12. My baby moves at midnight
goes right on till the dawn
My woman takes me higher
my woman keeps me warm

Another night without much typing. Lizbit and I don't know any of these songs, not even to guess. We need to find more station places on the music machine! Still, we think we figured out the theme, and I found a nice picture.
Theme?
That's easy. It just came into my head. Best Friens. (Lizbit says I have to spell it that way.)

Thank you for letting us play the game. Lizbit and I are so very happy to count all of you among our best friens.

6. Devil and the deep blue sea behind me
Vanish in the air you'll never find me
I will turn your face to alabaster
Then you will find your servant is your master

And my love is an anchor tied to you
Tied with a silver chain.
