The body of a California woman missing since November was found in a car in the parking lot at a Walnart in Salinas, CA. According to security footage, the car had been there since Deceomber but no one checked on it until this week. She apparently committed suicide.

Sadly, if a car was left that long at the Walmart near me, it'd likely be on blocks.

We had three or four abandoned cars on the lot once that became a mini free junkyard for customers and associates alike. There are much bigger fish to fry than dealing with cars that get left on the outer fringes of the parking lot...

LB is correct. The only reason we deal with them in our small burg is that we have an ordinance which requires that vehicles can't stay in one spot more than 24 hours, and it's particularly enforced at Wal-Mart because the area RV Park owners pitched a fit about RV owners using it as a base of operations.
