AUDITION CITIES ANNOUNCED!!!

#1 Post by KillerTomato » Tue Apr 01, 2008 12:12 pm

Fromthe website:

"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" is looking for exciting, smart and vivacious 20-something struggling actors, but to be on the show, you must pass a rigorous 10-question quiz (sample questions: what reality shows have you been on, and what's your favorite color?). We'll be going coast to coast, so sign up now for an audition in one of these cities:

Manhattan
Greenwich Village
Times Square
Brooklyn
Grammercy Park
Long Island City
SOHO
Staten Island
and Astoria

Check back later for a list of cities we'll be visiting on the next leg of our coast to coast tour in New Jersey, Connecticut and even Rhode Island!"
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

This instant I clicked this I knew I'd been had.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

You know, I've already checked the SyndieBAM website, thinking that if TPTB really wanted to get my goat, today would be the day for a little "fun".

I got a good laugh out of this, even though I knew it would be a joke when I clicked on it. Nicely done, KT.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Figures it would take April 1st to get the truth out of them.
If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man.
