Attention, 4-footers!

All critters who want to be part of the Marching Critters of Trivia Precision Drill Team should meet over here by this fire hydrant now. We're almost ready for our performance, but everybody has to pee before we can leave.

Don't worry if you haven't had a chance to practice with the drill team, as we'll be doing stuff that will come naturally to the beautiful and furry. For example, our first trick will have all the dogs roll over, while all the cats will sit very still and upright, looking spectacularly unimpressed.

Cats who are kind of afraid of dogs should stand next to BeBe, the tall brindley girl. She will guard you. She loves all cats, and all cats seem to love BeBe. Darned if I know why.

I see that a couple of the canines (Casey and Dot, for example, and maybe Merv and Evil Squirrel) already may have walked the parade route. That's okay. We will announce you as "crowd favorites" who are back by special demand.

The parade watchers are going to love us. How could they not love us?

Your boyfrien is going to have to let me out of the house first. LB keeps my prison locked up pretty tight. I can't even go outside and eat any of the squirrels...

Figure out a way cause I, Merv, can give you tips on ratbutt placement. Dot will do cleanup.

Sorry Casey couldn't make it back. She was distracted by her boy packing up to go back east to Pittsburgh. He should get there just in time to get in the way of Thanksgiving dinner preparations...
