ECT Trivia Night Round 9 Theatre Rhyme Time

#1 Post by mrkelley23 » Sat Oct 31, 2015 6:12 pm

Instructions: The answer to each clue will be rhyming words, and theatre will be related to the clue or the answer, or both. For instance, if the clue is “Show with amazing similarities to the one starring Billy Bigelow” the correct answer would be “Carousel parallel.”

1. Yellow tropical fruit belonging to the governess of King Mongkut of Siam.

2. A comment on Twitter about the tap-dancing musical set in New York.

3. Fame and renown for the Sharks and Jets.

4. A puzzling short test about a musical version of an L. Frank Baum tale.

5. The amount you pay to lease an apartment during the 40 days after Mardi Gras.

6. A piece of furniture from the set of the musical that produced the song Age of Aquarius.

7. Records and data about the musical based on poems by T. S. Eliot.

8. Cops that enforce discipline during performances of the show starring Danny and Sandy.

9. When Sally Bowles fires a stray bullet, and it bounces off the wall.

10. If the comedian who played Church Lady on SNL played Elwood P. Dowd.

11. An uproar about the Ira Levin comedy-thriller that was later made into a Christopher Reeve film.

Mr. Kelley, thank you for putting my big sis Annie in your game. Yes, I know it was the answer to a real question, but we always called her Anna Banana at home, and I sent her an eyelid message to tell her she was still part of the Bored. She liked that.
