$1k: ATA. Oh dear.

$5k: +1. This isn't looking for for me.

$7k: Probably needed 50/50 here before it clicked to me.

$10k and $20k: Thankfully I could take an educated guess at both of these. Atomic weapons were a big part of the Cold War and Animal Farm is the ultimate!ute illustration of one side of that war, plus all the choices bar the correct one can't possibly shrink by 4,000 Square miles.

$30k: Haven't a clue so I'm happily walking with $20,000.

The only reason I know this is because both my brother and my ex were working for Pepsi in the 70s, and they talked about stuff like this all the time.
-- In Iroquois society, leaders are encouraged to remember seven generations in the past and consider seven generations in the future when making decisions that affect the people.
-- America would be a better place if leaders would do more long-term thinking. -- Wilma Mankiller

ATA just to be safe on $5,000.

+1 on $30,000.

$50,000, I eliminate aluminum cans thinking they'd been used for beer since at least the 60s. I also figure pop commercials were airing in the 60s. When I think of early diet sodas, I think of Coca-cola's Tab. I might have 50:50'd just to be safe.

There's only one revolver among the choices. I've read that this name origin is disputed.

I would have been torn between aluminum cans and 2-liter bottles. I'd try the 50:50 to see what was left.
