As with many uniform manufacturers (especially Nike at Oregon and UnderArmour at Maryland, home university of their respective founders), adidas tinkers with uniforms for special occasions (i.e., comes up with new stuff to sell).
Back in August, adidas announced that Texas A&M was going to well a special all-black Halloween jersey and kit to wear at home against South Carolina. This was being marketed as "LIGHT UP THE NIGHT".
http://news.adidas.com/US/Latest-News/A ... 490cdf9903This innovative helmet features all-new reflective technology to light up the night. The black jersey and pants are highlighted with silver metallic numbers and stripes with carbon-fiber detailing, while the "Texas A&M" moniker is featured in metallic maroon lettering with carbon-fiber detailing across the chest. Additionally, the Lone Star Logo is also incorporated into the pant stripes, creating a cohesive signature look.

So, what time does the "Light Up The Night" game occur? 11am CT.
If they're going to light up the night, they'd better play a lot of overtimes.
