I read too many cereal boxes as a kid. In between emptying them out to get the cool prizes in them. Which usually turned out to be decidedly uncool.

I think the best thing I obtained from a cereal box was something you needed to send in boxtops and some coinage for postage and handling..to Battle Creek Michigan of course, where I imagined there were mountains of cereal being mined and put into boxes. Anyway, it was a 45 by Gary Lewis and the Playboys. On one side was This Diamond Ring and Little Miss Go-Go. On the other was Doin' The Flake. The cereal in question of course was Kellogg's Corn Flakes.

Needless to say, the Flake never caught on as a dance sensation. I was only in it for This Diamond Ring, to be honest.
Aw man, now I'm craving some cereal. This should have been a big hit!

You do suck.

You think yourself worthy to be on this Bored?
I'm reminded of a ribald cartoon I read many moons ago. A very dignified elderly couple are walking down a hotel corridor, passing by a door with an open transom. They each have a startled look on their face. That look is explained by the dialogue they evidently hear through the transom:
Ribald dialogue, potentially NSFW

About watching 500 Qs on ABC site ; I forgot, this was a prime-time show, so will be on the website.

Some shows they'll show right away, others they make you wait a week. Unless you log in your network "provider". They don't take "electronic frequencies projected through the atmosphere" as an answer, unless they're projected by a satellite.

I did that too! I wish I still had it.

I live about a half hour from Battle Creek. When you drive into the city, you are usually greeted with the aroma of cereal being made. It smells very good.

Way back in the 70's they let people take tours of the Kellogg's plant. I remember going on one. I think they even gave out free samples.

As for the show- I think it will be brought back (perhaps to kick off the new season). I would like to see the following people on it:

Ken Jennings-I think he would do well
Brad Rutter-head to head against KJ would be must see TV.
Robin Carroll-the first female ToC winner on J!
Colby Burnett
John Carpenter-the first $1M winner on BAM
Nancy Christy

Who would you like to see on 500 Questions?
I'm just a game show nerd.

I'm flattered, and I like the way you think. I don't know if I'll ever be on another game show, but I'll keep trying. If you count the live internet stream at 4 a.m. for Million Second Quiz, I've done shows in 4 decades, so I hope something good comes along in the 2020s. But I'd enjoy watching any Bored folks on 500Q, if it comes back.

And yes, Maddie is well on her way to achieving her goals of being a Supreme Court Justice and trophy wife.

I've waited till I watched all the shows before I looked at this thread to avoid any spoilers that may get dropped. Reading (it turned into skimming) this thread makes me wish there were more episodes to watch.

Nah, Maddie is going to have a trophy husband.

Rachael Schwartz, winner of the 1994 ToC (6 years before Robin Carroll) deserves a mention if we're playing the female firsts game.
