Thoughts on the first episode.
1. A 30-minute lead is hardly worth fighting for, given the challenges that the teams will face later. In this instance it turned out to be only about 5 minutes, as the first flight was delayed by 20 minutes and the second flight was 5 minutes early.
2. Even with the advantage of using hands, the pros should easily have defeated the teams; I wonder if they were told to go easy.
3. The teams are the usual assortment. Good thing the women were reasonably attractive since they all had to get into bikinis for the detour (why they had to wear them for the puzzle challenge eludes me).
4. No one has come across as a favorite team to root for yet.

But where was the "older" couple?earendel wrote:3. The teams are the usual assortment.
Maybe TPTB were counting the paparazzi in that category, but I refuse to root for paparazzi.

I honestly enjoy watching Total Drama's Ridonculous Race more than the actual show.
