That is very cool! I was wondering why some took so long to pop up, then I realized the entire thing was a timeline, not just each individual team...

And just like I brush off any talk of Pluto not being a planet, I also dismiss the decree that the Browns Part I and the Ravens aren't the same franchise. Sorry, NFL, but I believe in logic...

I did notice that the Cleveland Browns helmet was present even when the Ravens logo showed up. There were not Cleveland Browns from 1996 through 1998, so the Browns helmet should have disappeared from the gif for a couple of clicks...

Thanks, Esto and Vandal.

I like the Denver skyline logo for the Nuggets much better than the current one. Oh well.

I would love it if there was a pausable version of the baseball logo GIF to better take in the changes year by year. That is quite educational and entertaining...

In IE, pressing ESC causes all GIFs on a page to stop. Unfortunately, it is NOT a toggle, so you have to reload the page to re-start the GIF (and it will start from the beginning). I'm sure there are freeware GIF viewers available out there, but I haven't used any of them.

Try this:

Go to http://gifmaker.me/exploder/

Click "Upload Images"

Paste this path in the File Name field, then click Open:

Code: Select all

http://l3.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/JUw0PItyMfGdAXg6NDOZUw--/YXBwaWQ9eW5ld3M7cT04NQ--/http://l.yimg.com/os/publish-images/sports/2015-08-25/015ab440-4af6-11e5-a42c-df968bd54cc4_MLBLogos2015FINAL256100dither.gif
Wait for it to finish processing, then click "Download it now, you can unzip the file with 7zip"

Once it's downloaded, open the zip file then click "Extract All Files"

Go to the folder you extracted the files to, and enjoy!

Or just click here. But it's not that satisfying to scroll through them.

Hmm, that's the link they say to use, but it's not working. Just go to gif-explode.com and paste the URL from the post above if you want to see what it does.
