Andrew Getty, 47, the grandson of oil billionaire J. Paul Getty, was found dead in his Hollywood Hills mansion. Foul play is suspected, and the LAPD is investigating.

I haven't outlived mine, but I have passed a different kind of milestone -- at my age, Dad had just had his third angioplasty (he ultimately had 13 by the time he'd died at 78).

And yes, he too was a smoker, starting at 14, but had quit at age 48. Obviously had he continued, he wouldn't have made 78.

They are now saying it doesn't look like there was foul play involved. Apparently he had underlying health issues that were the likely culprit.
