Derek Jeter's retirement was very big news around here. The number 2 in the question probably refers to his Turn 2 foundation, which helps kids. He also sponsors a program called "Jeter's Leaders" which gives kids leadership training.
I'm just a game show nerd.

I'm pretty sure the number 2 refers to his uniform number. "Turn 2" means to make a double play, in which he, as the shortstop, would typically be involved.
