Maybe the new job has drawbacks...

#1 Post by gsabc » Fri Oct 03, 2014 7:30 pm

Today I was invited, along with several others, to a training session later in the month titled "Suoervisor Harassment Seminar". Hmmm...

Actually, it's been great so far. My predecessor apparently was a real pill so everyone is glad to see someone new with a better attitude toward life, let alone toward Quality. Lots of things to work on, systems to improve and stuff to catch up on. Of the fifteen business days I've worked for them, I've been away from the office on business for 6.5 of them. That's more business trip days than during the previous ten years combined. The people are all very nice and friendly, HR actually seems to want to help instead of being a hindrance - all in all, this may be a lot of fun. <insert superstitious activities here to avoid the evil eye>

Being able to visit BD, SIL and HGS on the company's money ain't bad, either. :D
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Could be worse - Seminar could have been: Manigimant and Quallty Controol.

Glad it's working out for you. Sometimes having one element of your life (the job) go well just makes everything else much better too.
