Basketball tonight

#1 Post by AnnieCamaro » Tue Mar 25, 2008 9:51 am

If you didn't know, lots of good games are being played today in the women's NCAA tournament. I will be rooting tonight for my girls' red team. They play Notre Dame.

I didn't make a bracket for this tournament. I wish I had done that. I love basketball. (And opera.)

I'll be rooting for them, too, Annie. And I'll be rooting for our local girls' red team, playing a purple team from Kansas.

Good luck to your other red team, too, Mr. Ear!

I'm glad basketball isn't considered part of show business. I could never say "break a leg," having done that a lot.

Is Abie Olajuwon playing in it? If so, I'm rooting for her team!

My team has a home game tonight. Good!

Against Tennessee. Bad!

Yes, she is one of my best girlfriends on the red team.

I will be one of her best girlfriends, too, when she meets me.

The girls from where I live are also playing tonight Annie and think of the operatic possibilities lady devils against lady devils Sun vs Blue.

The guys from here are also playing tonight in the consolation tournament for a chance to go to New York

Dog poop.

Pardon my language.

My red team girls lost at the end of overtime to Notre Dame, but it was an excellent game to watch. The teams traded the lead about 9,457 times. None of my best friends are seniors (or, at least, none in the starting line-up), so I think they'll be betterbetterbest next year.

Notre Dame plays Tennessee next. Good luck on that.

Rats. I saw it was in OT and, although it took everything in me to root against Notre Dame, but I was doing it! I noticed from the boxscore that Bubba Paris has two daughters on the team (and I'm assuming that the Roethlisberger is of THE Roethlisbergers?).

Miss Courtney Paris and Miss Ashley Paris are twins. Miss Carlee Roethlisberger is the younger sister of that football player guy from the Steelers.

I also like Miss Jenna Plumley very much. She is the most famous person in her family. She is only about my mom's size, but she makes a ton of 3-point shots. She practices more than my mom, though.

I'm so sorry to hear that - I was rooting for them. But my red team girls won and are going to the Sweet 16 for the first time.
