It's Toronto over Washington for Press Conference of the Day
Rob Ford for the win
Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Did Rob Ford ever say "[deleted B-word] set me up" during the conference?

I'm not sure, but have you heard Ford's presser? The one word he used wasn't nearly as epic as his last sentence in the context of that word.Pastor Fireball wrote:Did Rob Ford ever say "[deleted B-word] set me up" during the conference?

Spirit Air had a nice ad advertising really cheap fares to Toronto and in the comercial they commented "No, we're not smoking crack."
the video is no longer available here, but but here is the article.

..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

I'm waiting for an ad using, "I've got more than enough to eat at home."BackInTex wrote:Spirit Air had a nice ad advertising really cheap fares to Toronto and in the comercial they commented "No, we're not smoking crack."

Canada's long national nightmare is over. Rob Ford, hospitalized with an abdominal tumour, will not run for re-election. Sources say the mayor's brother Doug will run in his place, and Rob will try to replace Doug on City Council.

It's sad for a great city like Toronto to have the Fords for your dynasty...
