SAT results
My son, Sparky, who just finished 8th grade, also just finished his precalculus course, so we thought it would be a good idea for him to take the SAT Level II Math exam while the material was still fresh in his mind. Although he had command of the material, we're aware that Sparky is not always fast enough for many standardized tests, and that he frequently makes careless errors when he attempts to increase his speed. So we were expecting a foundation to build upon.

Wow! Nicely done!
And once again, wow! He's finished 8th grade already? It's been a long, long time since your family came to visit Ithaca.

If memory serves, we visited you about a week after Ryne Sandberg was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. --BobMarleysGh0st wrote:Wow! Nicely done!![]()

But it was during a severe drought, when Taughannock Falls looked like a little trickle coming out of someone's garden hose. It's been a lot different this season, with all the rain we've had!

WTG, Sparky!

Re: SAT results
How long are the results valid for? When I worked in graduate admissions, we required that the GMAT was no more than three years old. These are different circumstances, but you might want to check whether u-grad admissions would have a problem.

Re: SAT results
We checked that question before signing him up. Under current rules, the result will still be valid when he applies to college. --Bobbazodee wrote:How long are the results valid for?
