So.Well.

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Wed Jun 18, 2014 7:43 pm

Any sorts of even weak vibes would be appreciated. I'm prolly overreacting because I tend to od on info. Anyway, back in 2002 when I was diagnosed with bc the scans picked up a mass in my brain. It wasn't cancer but an epidermoid tumor that begins in utero and grows very slowly. If you look at a pic of the cerebellum on an mri mine is in the left posterior cranial fossa. I do, indeed, have rocks in my head. Shut up!

So, after the first neurosurgeon eval I let it go for 7years. Went back acouple years ago for another mri and it was watch and wait. If I had trouble swallowing, etc come back, otherwise come back in a couple.

So, just went back for the mri this week and visit the surgeon tomorrow. While it had increased a bit last time, looking at the pics this time it appears I have a sister from another mother attached to the original bump. If you lok at that section it covers maybe a thirdish, closer to the brain stem.

I'm thinking I know crap, even reading up, so will just be watching more. Except I've been dizzy for months and had blowtorch headaches, which I attributed to allergies, sinus infection.

Anyway, thx for listening.

Think happy thoughts and make it go away.

Good luck with this.

I've got a board meeting tomorrow. That's as annoying as stewing about this. No kidding.

And, um, echoing the good thoughts and prayers stuff from everyone else.

I mean, don't make me come down there.

My sister used to tell me to "wait to worry". Easy for me to say, isn't it? Love you, Beebs!

Time to pull on the red cowboy boots and kick some ass. You will so do this!
