Training young Emirati men and women for careers in government service. Eight months there, four months here.

Kids are absolutely great and have a fantastic work ethic and sense of humor...you'd think a group of students who routinely arrive to class in Lexus and Mercedes might not really apply themselves, but they worked nights, weekends and all sorts of extra hours. I had one kid who barely graduated but he really gutted it out and when I gave him his report that, not only had he graduated, but he was the most improved student in the class, he cried. His comment: "Now I can go home to my family with pride."

I'll take 10 kids like him over any 100 Harvard grads any day of the week.

Missed the family a ton, but love the job.

So you didn't go to Wisconsin, right?

Does Wisconsin have massive sand dunes, 250,000 camels, and a golf clubhouse shaped like a falcon?

Dunes, yes, although "massive" is strictly a matter of interpretation. For that matter, the plural of "dune" might be a matter of interpretation as well.

We're working on the other stuff.
