Acclaimed cinematographer, best known for his work on the Godfather trilogy and on several Woody Allen films that featured some unusual visual and cinematographic effects like Zelig, Broadway Danny Rose, and The Purple Rose of Cairo. Surprisingly, although Willis worked on several of the most acclaimed films of the 1970s, including Godfather 1 and 2, Klute, Manhattan, Annie Hall, and All the President's Men, he, himself did not receive a nomination during that decade (although he got two later nominations for Zelig and Godfather 3). He received an honorary Oscar in 2009.
Age 82.
