Rockies-Rangers Game Tonight

#1 Post by danielh41 » Thu May 08, 2014 10:13 pm

Being the Rockies fan that I am (former Colorado resident, attendee of the first game in Rockies history AND the first game in Coors Field history), I went to both Rockies-Rangers games in Arlington, last night and tonight. But imagine the luck tonight of sitting in the same section as TheCalvinator24. And the crowd was so sparse due to the rain earlier in the day, that we could sit together and have a conversation about baseball and about the NFL draft. All in all, a very pleasant evening.

It was good talking with you. I'm glad your second favorite team won tonight.

Thanks for keeping Arenado's streak alive. I hope to see consecutive games 32 and 33 next week in Kansas City...

I hope his streak is still going then too.

I don't have much vacation time this year, so our family trip is going to be a weekend in Kansas City in late July. We plan on seeing the Royals play the Indians on a Saturday night (after seeing the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, the American Jazz Museum, and the Truman Presidential Library). I haven't been to a game at Kaufman since 2006, before all the renovations, so I'm looking forward to it.
