Observations April 23, 2014 - Bas-relief

Since we were in Atlanta anyway for my cousin's wedding, we decided to drive out to Stone Mountain State Park to view the impressive bas-relief carved into the largest granite face in the world.

Stone Mountain is not the largest granite face in the world. It's not even granite.

Stone Mountain, the largest exposed granite face in the world, is 15 miles east of Atlanta, Georgia.
