2009 report on Africa's Agricultural potential (plus other areas.
In the last 20/25 years there have been innumerable articles about Brazil's agricultural potential and on-going development of said potential.
We are just now seeing many articles on potential agriculture development in Africa. Not that this development makes me happy, but it is what it is.

I'm not going to read the report but if Africa's agricultural potential is similar to Brazil's I'm against it. Brazil's soil --- after they cut down the rainforest --- is unsuitable for agriculture unless tons of fertilizer is used.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
