I would love to see Arthur (the current 11 game winner) take on Brad Rutter and KJ. That would be interesting. I think it would be a very close game.
I'm just a game show nerd.

Arthur is a good player and an excellent self promoter. He would need a lot of luck to beat Ken or Brad. He will probably never get a chance to try. At least not while Alex is still around.

I'm sure the show had a lot to do with Arthur's "self promotion." They were fortunate enough to have a player whose reign spanned a long period of time due to various tournaments and they milked it for all it was worth. The initial blitz of social media attention Arthur got when he was only a 3-4 day champion was undoubtedly orchestrated by the show (of course Arthur did his part by playing along with it).

I'm doing a Q & A with Arthur for my blog. Anybody have any questions for him?

The last two weeks of this tourney haven't taped yet, I don't believe. I suspect Arthur Chu will be mentioned in the green room and/or on air once or twice :)

Does anyone know whether David Madden was invited to participate? --Bob

David Madden was but declined on his own volition due to the National History Bowl that he runs uses the same S&P company as J!, though it's quite possible J! couldn't have invited him because of that.
