While I haven't been playing the QoD at all this month (I only have time for one game a day, typically), I can't pass this one up. You don't have to keep track of my scores if you don't want to, Nelly.

Spoiler
1. Lester Burnham, Angela Hayes, Ricky Fitts - AMERICAN BEAUTY. Anything with Annette Bening is OK in my book, even this pretentious stuff.
2. Aurora Greenway, Garrett Breedlove, Flap Horton - TERMS OF ENDEARMENT.
3. Jenny Curran, Benjamin Blue, Dorothy Harris - FORREST GUMP. One of the worst Best Picture winners of all time, IMO.
4. Boolie Werthan, Hoke Colburn, Idella - DRIVING MISS DAISY
5. Harold Abrahams, Eric Liddell, Lord Andrew Lindsay - CHARIOTS OF FIRE (another overrated snoozer).
6. Riff, Consuelo, Officer Krupke - WEST SIDE STORY, one of my all-time favorites
7. Victor Laszlo, Louis Renault, Signor Ugarte - CASABLANCA (another all-time favorite)
8. Laszlo de Almasy, Katharine Clifton, David Caravaggio - THE LONG, OVERBLOWN, WHO GIVES A SH*T, AWFUL, TERRIBLE ENGLISH PATIENT. If it wasn't for Juliette Binoche, this would be completely unwatchable. Second only to "Out of Africa" on my list of worst Best Picture winners.
9. Alvy Singer, Allison Portchnik, Tony Lacey - ANNIE HALL. I loved Woody before this movie.
10. Peter Warne, Ellie Andrews, Oscar Shapeley - IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT
11. Chris Taylor, Robert Barnes, Elias Grodin - PLATOON. I've only been able to watch it once.
12. Henry Gondorff, Johnny Hooker, J.J. Singleton - THE STING. Love it.
13. Jerry Mulligan, Henri Baurel, Adam Cook - AN AMERICAN IN PARIS
14. Bill Gillespie, Sam Wood, Leslie Colbert - IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT
15. Lt. Col. Nicholson, Col. Saito, Cmdr. Shears - THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI. Just saw it on TCM not too long ago.

BONUS
Billy Costigan, Colin Sullivan, Frank Costello - THE DEPARTED. Marty finally gets his due, although I still think "Raging Bull" is his best work.
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

I still shake my head about what all you people know that I have no clue about.

Give me TV characters and I am all over that one.

Good thing you aren't being picky since the name is "The Bridge on the River Kwai"!

That's all I know. Not so good. Air Bud never won an Academy Award. I don't know why.

How about Old Yeller? 101-102 Dalmations? Cujo, Underdog, Benji or even Turner and Hooch?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

You guys are forgetting some of the best ones -- Because of Winn-Dixie, Beethoven, and The Sandlot. I like The Sandlot because of that nice dog who lives next to the ball field, The Beast. He looks a lot like that handsome mastiff who cheered me up in the hospital.
