Some of you might remember last year, the condo I had lined up for September in Canmore, Alberta, was in a well-publicized aerial photo showing the flooding there last spring.
As it turned out, that condo didn't sustain any damage, and we had a wonderful time there (although there were still some signs of recovery there and in Calgary).
This year, Mrs. Spiff and I are looking at going to London and Paris. First of all, I got rattled with all of the 24 revival ads during the Super Bowl, including one with one of the places we're looking at staying at in the background of a bomb detonation.
And now this. Cue the deja vu music.

[EDIT: Been listening to the Manchester United - Arsenal game, playing in London today. At halftime, the PA announcer told the Man U fans that all trains, busses, and planes back to Manchester after the game have been cancelled due to the weather. Two of the four EPL games for today were postponed as well.]
Maybe I should just stay home.
I'm going to have to rethink if I should ever go on vacation
