Are you ready for some campaign ads?????

#1 Post by Kazoo65 » Wed Jan 15, 2014 7:43 pm

Our governor apparently thinks voters like football. He's buying airtime during the Super Bowl to run campaign ads. Now we get to see him telling us how great he is instead of normal Super Bowl commercials. Ugh.

I hope this doesn't start a trend.
I'm just a game show nerd.

Political campaigning in January for an August primary? The next thing you know, radio stations will start playing Christmas songs before Halloween!

I think someone in his office has been planning to run a Super Bowl ad as soon as the home-state team is playing there, and has finally realized he'll likely die of old age first.

One of the other trivia-night questions on Sunday was the coach who took the Vikings to the SB four times and lost. The emcee, when he revealed the answer, started making fun of

, calling him an all-time loser. Hello? You're a Lions fan! Four losses is a hell of a lot better than zero appearances!

Also, our team could always use another player, if you want to join us at Bells on Sunday nights. Just let me know.
