I was also in distress about the red kitty. I'm going to ask for an update on the child and the red cat - though I guess them naming the rescue shelter means someone has already grabbed up that boy!

The writer says the new kitty in his house is still under the bed.

He doesn't know if Tomas was adopted yet, but said several people went to that organization to adopt after his column, so odds are good.

Thank you for the good story and the update, Miss Ritters. I like cats, and I wish I had one of my own. I might try writing a note like that boy did. I would feeb my kitty every time it was hungry and sometimes when it wasn't.
