This is a strange coincidence
The play that was being performed at London's Apollo Theatre when the ceiling collapsed was The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time. That's adapted from a book about a boy with Asperger syndrome. I wasn't aware that it had been turned into a play. About eight years ago I was paid to write a screenplay based on the book by Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment. The film was put on hold but since the play has now won awards, the film may finally be made. My script could be used if Plan B still owns the rights, but otherwise someone else may write a new one, based on the play, not the book. If they use my draft, not only will I be paid more money but will finally get into IMDb.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
