Another celebrity edition this week

Reality stars and real-life sisters Towanda, Trina and Traci Braxton from the hit WE tv series "Braxton Family Values," will appear as contestants on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" with host Cedric "The Entertainer" in episodes airing WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11 and THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2013.
Wonderful.
"Millionaire's" producers even created a one-time, special lifeline for the Braxtons, allowing them to "Switch A Sister" if necessary.
What's this mean? Instead of all three playing together, there'll only be one or two of them at the Hot Podium at a time, tag-teaming a replacement sister as necessary?

I remember when WWTBAM "celebrities" were people I've actually heard of.

Now we're down to DWTS rejects.

I suspect it's a ruse to bring in their sister Toni, the only Braxton that anyone's heard of...

For those inclined to ask, "Who?":

The author of the Wiki article linked above wrote:Braxton has won 6 Grammy Awards, 7 American Music Awards, and 9 Billboard Music Awards. Throughout the years, she has sold over 66 million records worldwide.

I saw a promo for tomorrow's celebrity show while watching today's episode.

It looked confusing-there were 2 sisters standing in front of the Hot Podium. I'm not sure which one was supposed to be answering. I think I'll skip this one.
I'm just a game show nerd.

More publicity for this episode:

http://www.realitytea.com/2013/12/10/th ... g-charity/
Well, it's always nice to share some news of reality stars giving back to the community, and everyone seems to be in the charitable spirit this time of year. It's enough to make a Scrooge like me put away her Bah-Humbugs and finish decorating the tree!
I knew Scrooge. Scrooge was a business partner of mine. And, you, reality show blogger, are no Scrooge.

Besides, in order to "give back," shouldn't they be giving something of their own, instead of just funneling money from a game show company that deliberately offers this episode's prize budget to a charity instead of to a regular contestant, in exchange for this "celebrity" appearance?
Also on hand will be We TV's cameras to capture all the behind the scenes craziness for the Braxton's reality show. The footage from Who Wants to Be a Millionaire will air on Braxton Family Values on January 30, 2014.
So the Braxton's aren't just getting publicity on WWTBAM, they're getting footage for their own show. With reciprocal publicity for WWTBAM, of course.

Yep, nothing involved here but selfless charity.
