Observations Backlog 615 - Impetuous

Not long ago, I saw a young man answer his cell phone, say a quick word to his dining companion, then rush impetuously out the door, thus giving rise to all sorts of horrified imaginings, and it wasn't until the next day's newspaper that I was relieved to discover that the accident which caused that headlong rush would not result in any funeral notices.
-- In Iroquois society, leaders are encouraged to remember seven generations in the past and consider seven generations in the future when making decisions that affect the people.

There should have been a full page of observations containing the word impetuous, but nay, not so. I found only one that didn't particularly appeal to me, so I wrote my own.
