Longtime actor and director, best known as James Kinchloe on "Hogan's Heroes". Age 76.

Damn... so this means that Dickie Dawson and Robert Clary are the last two living regular cast members from that series.

Man, I coulda sworn Richard Dawson was dead. I thoguht that's why he wasn't hosting the Feud any more.

Just his career, then.

Just Dawson's career is dead. Suicide.

Many years ago, when I was a college student, I met Dawson when he hosted some sort of beauty pageant at a local hotel. I actually ran into him while waiting for the elevator after the event and tried to tell him how much I enjoyed the show. He looked at me like I was some sort of insect, and then stalked off (I didn't ask for an autograph or anything).

That attitude, with I understand was his general way of dealing with supposed inferiors, contributed to his career flameout after Feud.

Dawson retired from show business and now lives a quiet, private life. Just like Johnny Carson did.

Dawson can't be dead. I'm watching him on GSN right now!

I thought I'd check out the "GSN Live" programming block for my first time today, since their guest for the three hours is Ken Jennings.

You can register to win a prize each hour. I called the maximum of 10 times this hour to be in the random drawing to see who gets to play. Ken already read the question that will be asked. You have to know the name of the famous song used in Casablanca.

I don't think this will become "must see TV" for me after today.

Ken is visiting our local library on Friday.

Will a stint on "Dancing With the Stars" or "Celebrity Rehab" be next.

It's a big Dawson day on GSN. Now he's a panelist on The Match Game.

He married a former contestant and is living in Beverly Hills.

In his March 4 blog entry, Ken mentioned getting an invitation to some new celebrity reality show. The money tempted him, but he turned it down.
