Signed and returned the florist's contract today. Or rather, BD did. She asked what "guarantor" meant, and was that her. I'm still not used to her being old enough to sign contracts. I may never be.
Seems like all the vendors have issues with contracts. This one was not only slow in coming, it had the wrong date on it. BD called, and they had no idea what they had done. It was on their calendar for the 10th, but the typed contract said the 16th. They said just correct it ourselves. There was also a typo on the location within our venue (the venue has a bigger hall as well, with a different name). I am the local grammar and spelling pedant, part of being in QA, and I notice these things. Doesn't anyone proof-read anymore, or are they totally dependent on the correctness of Bill Gates and His Sloppy Programmers (appearing daily on your local computer)?
Nothing more today. Gotta finish up stuff at work so I can travel tomorrow and audit on Thursday. I'll see if the hotel has a computer I can use so I can check in here tomorrow. Too much hassle to drag along a laptop I won't use in the audit anyway.
