When I saw this guy figure this out based on which hit the market most recently, I thought Wow! Win the million, buddy!
Question 2 - 7 Cover Controversy

More intelligent figuring, knowing the history; also knowing that Hitler had been named Man of the Year.
Question 3 - 1 Fired Up
Something that is working at full strength is often said to be “firing on all” what?

No figuring here, he knew it cold.

They coulda made this a lot harder by naming four animals, but zoo and animals, as he said, made me think this must have been a low value question.

I liked this guy better with every question and discovered that the old truism is still true -- yelling Laos! Laos! at the television does not help the contestant answer the question. :(
-- In Iroquois society, leaders are encouraged to remember seven generations in the past and consider seven generations in the future when making decisions that affect the people.
-- America would be a better place if leaders would do more long-term thinking. -- Wilma Mankiller

Cambodia was also part of the "Secret War" and Clinton visited there on the same trip, but she's also visited there before (as, perhaps, have other Secretaries of State). Kinda wicked of the question writers to include that as a distractor.

Ouch! I thought Nathan was going to do very well. During his conversation with Meredith before the game he mentioned that he had made a list of categories and the questions and tried to study the areas where he was weak. Sounds like he'd fit in around here. As for me, "secret war" didn't trigger anything for me - I could remember there being combat actions going on in both Laos and Cambodia. I'd JTQ.
