The party's over....

#1 Post by mrkelley23 » Wed Mar 12, 2008 2:45 pm

For me anyway.

I've been blocked at work the last three days. Don't know if it's something on the front page of messages that's setting off the little dinging alarm bells on our firewall, or what. But I get to the main screen just fine, and then when I try to open this section, the filter screen comes up.

Back to the depths of the Sprots dungeon for me.

It was fun while it lasted, anyway.

Sorry, Mikey. You don't suppose it has anything to do with the recent discussions about the governor of New York, do you?

Do you have access from home?

Yeah, I'm fine from home -- that's where I am now.

I have wondered about what could have caused it -- there might be something in the filtering software that scans for naughty words, but we've been using those since day one, so I doubt it.

More likely that we're just appearing on enough search engines now that the anti-blog algorithm picked it up.

I'll keep trying, though, just in case.

I'm sorry the party is over for you, Mr. K.

Tomorrow, we'll save one of the cupcakes for you. (Somebody already ate them all today.)

It's all his fault. That'll be $10.

burrrp Sorry 'bout that.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

I'm sorry that you were blocked. I hope that it wasn't caused by the Happy Birthday graphics that I use.

What do I care......I see it as an opportunity to actually catch someone.....

But I do have something you can give to the district's IT people.....

It always makes me sad when someone I enjoy bantering with gets blocked at work.

At the same time, I really do think paying an employee to banter with me is just plain wrong.

I am conflicted sometimes.

I will miss the banter.

Get back to work!
