None of these make any sense except males, who take way more crazy risks than women do. "Let's finish this round! I'm gonna break 90 and they don't give refunds!" "Two more fish and I limit out!" "We can make it across that ridge easy if we hurry."

Today, I knew the answer, since I just watched the DVD last night. I'd have needed to ATA when this episode was taped, though.

I was wondering that, too. Even though Maria burnt a lifeline on the Level 8 question, I don't think it's too hard to recall which landmarks featured feeding people to the lions (for example).

And on this question, a Level 10, they had to add a warning that the Sun was a star and not a planet? Really???

Yeah, it's logical. Professionally as well as recreationally, males would more likely be outside during a storm.

Of course, I was also looking for choice E:

Looks like TPTB intentionally put some easy questions at the top of the unrandomized tree as "proof" that it's not always in order of difficulty.

I thoroughly enjoyed Maria as a contestant, and she had a stack that was tailor-made for a deep run (seen one of those before  ). It does seem a little crazy that she wouldn't know who had an "enemies list," but to each his/her own. We don't all come into this experience with the same knowledge base.

That said, I wouldn't have burned a lifeline before her $250k question, leaving me to wonder if I would be willing if I would trust the audience on the Seurat question, or just jump it (and presumably the $500k question) to see the million.

I would have sworn for the life of me that the animal in question in the foreground of the painting had been a dog itself, and I hadn't seen the painting in years to draw any conclusion otherwise.

Would have been very curious to see what the ATA results would have been on that question.

That would make her better than Wikipedia.

Too young to remember the Nixon years, I guess.

I don't know if I'd have been brave enough to go for it but that's the answer that came to me, just because of men on golf courses and more of them being employed in outdoor professions.
