BD is home from Vegas. No slot machine jackpots, sad to say. She had a good time, but is tired. She took the red-eye home, which left at midnight PDT. I think she's been feeling guilty about all those technical calls. After the first day, I got the calls to home instead of GW. Or maybe GW just didn't pick up her cellphone.

Addendum to the comics show yesterday. This coming Sunday is a bigger show in downtown Boston. The special guest is the other artist whose artwork I own and plan to sell, Carmine Infantino. I hate to be so mercenary, but I'd like to have him sign the pieces so I might get more money out of the deal. The problem is that Sunday is my Mom's 89th birthday party. If Mr. Infantino will sign the artwork (not a given, even if I had no intention of selling) and is available right when things start, I might be able to make it there and back in time. If he's only there later on, it can't happen. Wish the timing were better, though. I'd love to hear him talk about his work. He has been in the industry for over 50 years. If he has his book available, or a new one, I'm buying it anyway. Assuming I can get there at all.

Final meal choices will be in about a month. We've set up the appointment with the venue. We shall have to do the same with the florist soon. For flowers, not meals. <Euell> And pussywillows make a wonderful dessert.</EG>
