Spoiler
Okay, I must bow down and give saalams to Cirie. That was probably one of the most masterful displays of manipulation and powermoves that has ever been seen.

Did anyone else catch the look Amanda gave Ozzie when Jeff asked about the Idol? I think he has it from his visit last time. Let's home he doesn't get burned like James did.

I think, from the previews, that Penner will be evacuated for medical issues. Too bad, because I actually am enjoying his game play right now.

Anyone else think that Chet has lip implants LOL

Will be interesting to see if the strategy works. The fans theoratically have the edge now in that tribe with Joel gone. But can they win future strength based challenges? Presuming there are any. Joel definitely overplayed his hand given he was such an imposing physical threat and his brutal treatment of Chet, no matter how wimpy the guy is, wouldn't likely win him any friends. It certainly further alienated me.

But with the preview of Ami looking like she might join with the "Team Weak" that puts Amanda, Ozzie (who is still clearly a major threat) and Erik in a bad spot. The women also now have a 4-3 edge in the tribe (5-2 if you count Chet...). Remember, Ami was the person who tried to lead the girl power alliance in Vanuatu. Of course, that didn't work out so well. (Ami obviously likes the ladies! She is open about it and describes herself as bisexual)

Ami wouldn't be someone I would trust though and her sexualty has nothing to do with it. She seems to have a cold streak and there are times when she looks like it wouldn't bother her if she ripped you in half with her bare hands...

Definitely have to give Cerie props for strategy so far.

As for Chet, maybe he has lip implants but that is about it. The rest of him is a flaccid bag of bones.

I too would hate to see Penner get bounced because of a legitimate medical injury beyond his control. But sepsis is no joke and I would think given how his injury occurred with all kinds of potential nasty bugs on whatever ripped his leg open and little way to get proper care that he is at high risk of having to leave. Some people have wimped out and I have no sympathy for them but when you have to leave that way it is a true shame.

I am not particularly squemish, but I thought the detailed showing of the stitches was unnecessary.

I don't like Chet much but agree that the behavior in the course was part of the reason for the vote.

And Cirie is a quiet mastermind!

I couldn't watch the stitches being put in.

I figured that they were showing the whole thing in such great detail because it will be important later on. I am guessing that he will need to be evacuated because of infection or something related to the knee.

Didn't even occur to me that the stitches segment might bother folks. Then again having done that to people myself I suppose I wouldn't even notice.

Besides, those were big easy stitches (I am a bit surprised they didn't put one or two sub Q). Try putting an eyelid back together!

It didn't bother Jeff, but I can't even watch a needle going into my arm, so it bothered me.

Um, no thanks!

Can't I just leave that to you?

:D

I'll make all your body wash for you though!

Is she the one that had Bell's Palsy? The picture certainly looks like she had a complete cure. Lovely young lady! Not bad for a half Brit!
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

I think this was prior to the palsy. But she has had a mostly complete cure. She says she can still feel a little pain on that side if she sleeps on it and her face is against the pillow too long.

At least she has my sense of humo(u)r and not a British one!

I completely agree. And I also thought that move by Cirie was brilliant and completely logical. It gave Ozzy a way to solve his dilemma. Now, if they want, the favorites can just eliminate the fans on that team until the merge. Too bad about Jonathan. I hope he in't forced to leave. But, he was pretty well hobbled by that injury. I thought this was one of the best episodes since last season.
