Am I the only one who can't spring forward & fall back

VCRs easily?

I can set the clocks easily enough; now that the US of A is on a different set of dates than when the VCRs were built, I always have them on manual around this time of year anyway. I do not trust how the time signal broadcast from the local PBS station will interact with their old-daylight-savings schedule programming if I set them on automatic.

No, setting the time of day is not the problem. Problem is that I will be out of town this weekend, & have 1 overnight program that may begin at 11:30pm Sat (usually its on later, but the station its on has ceased access to its schedule on its web page, even though for pity's sake its a TV station web site, & TV Guide no longer does overnight schedules either) & Sunday Morning on CBS is on, well, on Sunday morning. So if I change the times before I leave tomorrow early I have one dilemma, if I don't I have another.

I'm sure the lexic among you do not find this hard, but if I don't change the times before I leave, should I program Sunday Morning, broadcast at 9:00am Eastern Daylight Time for 10:00am, or.....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh

I won't even be here to read answer, though.

I generally schedule a 5 hour time block for the period ReGenesis usually is broadcast within. So I won't just catch the end or just the beginning, either followed or preceded by too much Star Drek.

If you haven't changed your clock, you should set the VCR to record at 8 a.m. for a program that starts at 9 a.m. EDT.
