Feedback on this question from somebody named Jens Erik Vaaler on a gaming site:
A contestant on Who Wants to be a Millionaire was asked the rediculously easy question “In the video game ‘Donkey Kong‘, the hero now known as Mario was originally called what?” This question was worth $100,000! “Lol, wut?”, anyone?

Clearly, Jens, the question was easier for you than spelling "ridiculously". :P

He meant "reediculously"......

With her “Millionaire” winnings, she plans to buy her husband, Craig, a Jeep, and they’re talking of buying a new house.

I will chime in here and say that while I thought Billie did fantastic with her stack, I agree with Jens that the Donkey Kong question was probably undervalued. This is a failry well-known bit of trivia.

IMHO.

The $250K was rightly priced, though- and she got it even with some doubts as to whether Spokane was a winner.

It amazed me how calm you were throughout the entire game. You looked very much in control, with the possible exception of "Jumpman," which you later admitted, was a complete guess.

I disagree somewhat, because I think if you asked the average person what Mario's original name was, you'd get a lot of "He had a name BEFORE?" I think most would just assume he was an unnamed hero of sorts. I think it would have been a good $50,000 question, but they don't use them anymore. Surprised it wasn't a Level Ten, instead.

BTW, I meant to say overvalued.

And I know a lot of people who knew the answer to this. Or, given the answer choices, could have reasoned it out (maybe Climbman was the only other reasonable answer besides Jumpman).

But reasonable minds may differ.

You'd think we'd learn the answers after awhile.
