Good-bye, Fidel Castro

Well, he's not dead (so that's why the title isn't "RIP"). He has decided not to seek another term as president of Cuba - his decision was announced overnight and prior to this weekend's election. His brother Raul will undoubtedly be elected in his stead. I doubt that this means much of a change in policy on either Cuba's part or the part of the U.S. - Castro is still an imposing figure even if he doesn't have an official title.
