In less than 4 hours, the limo comes to take me to my flight to California. After an overnight stay and, God willing, a family reunion-type dinner, my parents and I head to New Zealand on Sunday night. Auckland, Rotorua, and Wellington on North Island are on my two-week part of the itinerary. My folks head to South Island for about a week after that. I'm excited but kind of nervous that I'm forgetting something critical. I'm also weary and hoping for a whopping 2-1/2 hours of sleep tonight. I never seem to have the time to do everything. Oh well.
Anyway, I'll pretty much be away from the board for a couple of weeks, but I'll give you a report when I get back. Take care, you guys, and be well.
P.S. My avian benefactor for this trip, Jackson (currently seen at left), was apparently released into the wild yesterday. Oh, and one more thing -- he is a SHE! Who'da thunk it?
